The tool uses an AI speech-enhancement model. It keeps the voice and treats most other sound, room tail included, as unwanted. That is why speech improves and music does not.
Getting the best result
- Start at the default strength; drop it by 10-20% if the voice sounds dry or robotic.
- Clips with one voice work best. Several people in a big room is harder.
- Do not stack effects before cleaning; clean first, then EQ or compress.
- For next time: record closer to the microphone and put a blanket or coat behind the speaker.
We do not store your audio. Your browser shrinks it to a small file, sends it over HTTPS to our API, and we pass it to our AI provider (fal.ai) for the job; the result comes back to your browser. Do not use it for recordings you are not allowed to share with a processor.
Limits
- Up to 10 minutes per file. 1 free clean-up a day, then 5 credits.
- Output is a speech-focused clean voice; background music is also reduced.

Can I remove echo from audio for free?
Yes: the first clean-up each day is free with no sign-up. After that 5 credits each.
Does it work on music?
No, it is made for speech. Music is treated as noise and gets damaged. To work on instruments, split the song into stems instead.
Why does my voice sound thin afterwards?
The strength is too high for your clip. Lower the slider and run it again.
Can it remove echo from a video?
Drop the MP4 or MOV; the sound is cleaned and you download audio. It does not re-export the video.
How long can the recording be?
Up to 10 minutes.
Is my recording stored?
Not by us. It is processed by our AI provider, fal.ai, for the job and the result returns to your browser.
Will it remove all the echo?
Not always. Light echo goes almost entirely; large-hall reverb is reduced. Compare before and after.
