Audio and video files

Drop MP4, MOV or WebM and the soundtrack is transcribed; the video itself never leaves your computer, only the audio is shrunk and sent. Download SRT or VTT and import it into your editor or upload it as captions.

We do not store your audio. Your browser shrinks it to a small file, sends it over HTTPS to our API, and we pass it to our AI provider (fal.ai) for the job; the result comes back to your browser. Do not use it for recordings you are not allowed to share with a processor.

What this tool does not do

  • No summaries, action items or chat with the transcript.
  • No speaker labels.
  • No YouTube or URL input: drop a file.
  • Not real time: it transcribes a finished recording.

Frequently asked questions

Can I convert a voice memo to text?

Yes. Drop the M4A from your phone's voice memo app, or any MP3 or WAV, and press Transcribe.

Does it work for phone calls and meetings?

It transcribes recordings you already have. Quality is best when people speak one at a time and the audio is clear. It does not join calls or record them.

Can I get subtitles for a video?

Yes. Drop the video, transcribe, and download SRT or VTT to import into your editor or upload to a video site.

Is there a time limit?

20 minutes per file. Split longer recordings with the audio cutter.

How much does it cost?

One transcription a day is free. After that 5 credits each.

Does it identify speakers?

No. You get text with timestamps; add speaker names yourself.

Is the audio kept?

Not by us. It is processed by our AI provider, fal.ai, for the job and the text returns to your browser.
