Hear a real AI song split into 4 stems

This is a real result from the engine behind the tool. The song is Sunlight, an indie pop track generated with an AI model while we built TuneSplit, so it behaves like a Mureka or Suno export: a full mix with vocals, drums, bass and synths baked into one file. Play each player on its own to judge the separation before you upload your own.

AI-generated songs tend to split well. They usually have a clear lead vocal, a steady beat and less live room sound than a band recording, so the model has an easier job. Busy choirs, heavy distortion and long reverb tails are still the parts most likely to leak between stems.

Mureka and other AI music generators compared

Some generators can export stems themselves, usually on paid plans. The table lists what each one states on its own pages, checked on 31 October 2026. Plans change often, so open the linked pricing page before you pay. Where a vendor page did not say, we write not stated rather than guess.

When a generator's own stem export is locked behind a plan you do not have, or you want stems from an older song you already downloaded, a separation tool gives you the same four parts from the finished mix.

You only need vocals or a karaoke track2-stem splitFaster, one vocal file and one music file

A splitter estimates each part from the mix, so it will not match a native multitrack export bar for bar. For a remix draft, a lyric video, karaoke or practice, the result is usually more than enough.

What to do with the stems

  • Replace the beat. Keep the AI vocal, mute the drums and program your own groove.
  • Make a karaoke or instrumental version for a video or a live set.
  • Fix the mix. Turn a loud synth down or push the vocal up, then bounce a new master.
  • Sample a hook. Lift the bassline or a vocal phrase into a new track.
  • Match tempo and key with the BPM and key finder and the pitch changer, both free in your browser.

If you want to make the song here too, TuneSplit's own generator creates two versions per prompt and can send a version straight to the splitter on the same page.

Rights and licences before you publish

Splitting does not change who owns the song. What you can do with the stems depends on the generator's terms and your plan when you made it.

  1. Check which plan you were on when the song was generated. Several generators tie commercial rights to paid plans.
  2. Read the generator's current terms for remixes, distribution and streaming.
  3. Keep the original file and the date you made it, in case a platform asks.
  4. Do not upload songs made by other people unless you have permission.

TuneSplit stores your upload privately, uses it only to make your stems, deletes it within 24 hours and never uses it to train a model.

Frequently asked questions

Can Mureka export stems?

Mureka's subscription page lists stem export, up to 12 stems, together with MIDI and WAV on its higher paid plan. On other plans, or for songs you already downloaded, you can split the finished mix into vocals, drums, bass and other with the free tool on this page.

How do I split a Mureka song into vocals and instrumental for free?

Download the song from Mureka, upload it to the tool above and pick 2 stems. You get a vocals file and a music file as MP3 downloads, usually in 20 to 60 seconds. One full split a day is free, up to 10 minutes, with no sign-up.

Who makes the Mureka AI music generator?

Mureka is made by Kunlun Tech under its Skywork AI brand. The App Store developer is listed as SKYWORK AI PTE LTD. It runs on the web at mureka.ai and as a phone app.

Is TuneSplit a Mureka alternative?

Partly. TuneSplit has its own AI song generator, which makes two versions per prompt, and a stem splitter on the same site. It is not affiliated with Mureka and does not use Mureka's models. Many people make songs in Mureka or Suno and use TuneSplit only for the split.

Does the splitter work for Suno, Udio and ElevenLabs songs too?

Yes. It works on the audio file, not the account, so any MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG or MP4 of up to 10 minutes can be split, whichever generator made it. Only upload songs you made or have the rights to use.

Can I use split Mureka stems commercially?

That depends on Mureka's terms and your plan when you made the song, not on the splitter. Mureka's subscription page states full commercial rights on paid plans. Check the current terms before you release or monetise anything.

What format are the stems?

On the free plan every stem downloads as an MP3. Upload WAV if Mureka lets you export it, because a lossless source gives a cleaner split.

Why does a little drum or reverb leak into the vocal stem?

The model estimates each part from the finished mix, so short drum hits and reverb tails can follow the voice. AI songs usually split cleanly, but if you hear bleed, use a gate, a high-pass filter or short fades in your editor.
