Lyric and structure tips for this genre
- Metal loves narrative: a siege, a ship, a curse, a last stand. Write three or four story beats and map them to verses, bridge and final chorus.
- Keep lines short and stressed so they can be shouted: four to seven syllables with strong beats.
- Chorus: a title phrase you can chant, repeated twice. Verses can be denser and more descriptive.
- Name tempo and guitar feel: galloping, palm-muted, tremolo, down-tuned. These terms change the riff more than the genre name.
- Harsh vocals vary by generation. If you need screams, ask explicitly, listen to both versions, and consider an instrumental plus your own vocal.
- Add a guitar solo or breakdown section after the second chorus in the prompt for a more complete structure.
Hear the engine first
We do not have a metal demo yet. Sunlight A shows the engine's drum and vocal clarity in a pop prompt; judge the metal result by generating your own.
Every generation returns two versions from MiniMax Music v2 and ACE-Step, which often differ in arrangement.
